The Pop Porium is committed to serving customers wholesome popcorn and sweets with an attitude of inclusivity, openness, and fairness. We specialize in small batches of handmade, gourmet mushroom kernel popcorn with exquisite flavor combinations. We carefully craft each batch of our popcorn because we believe that our process is what makes our popcorn truly one-of-a-kind. All of our specialty flavors are either air-popped or oil-popped in coconut oil. We also use Non-GMO kernels and never add preservatives to our products.

Party with us!
Our one-stop sweets shop is centrally located in the charming downtown area of Starkville Mississippi, home of the MSU Bulldogs. We craft America's favorite sweets and snacks with a modern twist and serve them in our quaint sweets shop. Our beautiful 3,000 SQ FT building is also available to rent for birthday parties, family get-togethers, and corporate functions. Click below to see renting options.

OUR FOUNDER
Community & Kindness
The Pop Porium was founded by Rosa Dalomba in March of 2017. Dalomba was born in the Cape Verde islands on the western coast of Africa. She migrated to Rhode Island in 1996. She is one of 10 children, a first-generation college graduate and business owner. Dalomba is a lover of community and culture, she shares her love by hosting cultural dance nights, pop-up art shows, and various other community events at her shop. She believes in doing business for the good of all, she does so by using her platform to advocate for those in underrepresented communities. Dalomba has been featured in many publications such as The New York Times and HBO.
